Irvine Co. plans grand opening for five new neighborhoods in Portola Springs village
2/3/2016
The Irvine Co. plans to open five new neighborhoods – with such names as The Vine and Cressa – in the northern Irvine village of Portola Springs this month.
The neighborhoods include townhomes and single-family homes, with prices from the high $400,000s to the low $1,000,000s.
Prospective homebuyers can tour model homes in each of the neighborhoods, slated to encompass 690 units at build-out, during a grand opening event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 20, with refreshments, entertainment and activities for children 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The new neighborhoods are going up between Irvine Boulevard to the south and the 241 toll road at the north. They join four other Portola Springs neighborhoods in which homes are currently selling.
The land giant’s Irvine Ranch neighborhoods were recently ranked second on a list of the nation’s top selling master planned communities in 2015.
The new neighborhoods include:
The Vine, with one- and two-story attached units from the high $400,000s; 1,235-1,702 square feet, 1-2 bedrooms, 1.5-2.5 bathrooms, two-car garages.
Indigo, with flats (one-story units) and townhomes from the low $500,000s; 1,178 to 1,822 square feet, 2-3 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, two-car garages.

Cressa, with single-family detached homes from the high $900,000s; 2,440-2,815 square feet, 3-5 bedrooms, 2.5-5 bathrooms, two-car garages.
