Start School in Style at the Endless Summer Festival
August 04, 2016

Although back-to-school season is almost here, we can still have a little end-of-summer fun! Irvine Spectrum Center’s Back to School Endless Summer Festival is back and here to help you stock up on everything from school supplies to the latest fall looks. The festival, which will be held August 18-20, is chock-full of entertaining activities and in-store parties that will make picking up all of your back to school needs more exciting than ever.

“We had such an amazing turnout at last year’s inaugural event that we’re expanding the festival to three days this year,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “This event officially marks the start of one of our busiest seasons at Irvine Spectrum Center and it’s our way to help shoppers find everything they need as they head back to school, plus extend summertime fun.”

While festival-goers will be able to enjoy activities across the center all three days from 2pm-7pm, there are a few major headliners on the lineup! On Friday, August 19 at 7:30pm, musical artist Alessia Cara will be stopping by the Giant Wheel Court to perform all of the hits from her debut album “Know-It-All,” including “Here” and “Wild Things.” When you’re not rocking out, you can get your skate on at Active Ride Shop Skate Village at Edwards Court from 2pm-7pm each day of the festival. This one-of-a-kind skating arena will offer skating sessions to the public, as well as demos and lessons from pro skaters.

For the beauty gurus out there, Nordstrom will be hosting a Beauty Lounge Airstream at Giant Wheel Court, also from 2pm-7pm each day! With complimentary hair styling by T3 and beauty makeovers by MAC and Dior, you can get picture-perfect while learning some beauty tips from the pros. Be sure to show off your photo-ready look at the open-air Yearbook Photo Booth at Carousel Court!

This event is all about the shopping, so you won’t want to miss the lengthy list of retail events! Each day from 5-7pm, you can find in-store activities at select stores including Anthropologie, Cotton On, Active Ride Shop, Hurley I Nike SB, Quiksilver, Windsor and Tillys.

Follow along on Irvine Spectrum Center’s social media leading up to and during the event for your chance to win gift cards to get you ready for back to school!

From lively entertainment to in-store shopping parties, Irvine Spectrum Center’s Back to School Endless Summer Festival is one you won’t want to miss. Be sure to mark your calendars for August 18-20 and celebrate going back-to-school in style!
